G'day all,

I have discovered that my dynamic DNS and DHCP configuration is not updating the
reverse
zone properly and I believe the reason is that the name server does not
correctly use my LAN's
domain name (zone) as the default it expects a FQDN?

All I need is for nsupdate to be able to add a new machine without having to
enter the FQDN

It was configured like this on my 'old' DNS server but when I migrated it to the
new machine
it seems to be broken.

So my problem is how do I do this, I have been sifting through dics, lists etc
but to no avail.

TIA for any ideas.
