Has any one setup pam_winbind.so to not pre append the domain in front. My problem is I want to us a Windows Domain controller to authenticate users into squirrelmail, But I have setup the mail boxes without the domain prefix.
For example domain AD, user alex.samad with getent passwd I get AD\alex.samad In Cyrus I have mailbox user\alex.samad (reply to addresses is [EMAIL PROTECTED], don't want an email addresses of [EMAIL PROTECTED]) When I log into squirrel mail (using pam) and cyrus (using pam) I have to use AD\alex.samad, but would really like to just use alex.samad So before I go hacking into the code I was wondering if somebody has done this somewhere else ? Or maybe another way to do it? Alex
