I've been trying to make a copy of Red Hat 9 CD 1 using mkisofs. I have succeeded in making a bootable CD. The problem is that when the install program asks for the install CD, the install program doesn't recognise the CD as an install CD.
Except for a minor difference in the -b and -c arguments for mkisofs, the same command works for Debian (Woody) CD1. ie. the Debian CD is bootable and installable. Has anyone know how to do this for RH 9 ? cheers, Bernard Doyle -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
