Gees I'd just about forgotten about that, yes they used to decide to
recharge the phone number memory battery every 15 minutes approx. I
believe this was particularly prone to happen with the flat mylar keyboard
version of the T200 handset as opposed to those with raised buttons.... 
but it was about a dozen years ago!
