Hi guys
I'm looking at some equipment that load bales internet connections, ie multiple isdn, dsl etc, but it seems pretty expensive.
Has anyone used linux for this sort of thing?
You talking about load balancing incoming data consumed by people with web browsers?
Yeah, sure, use squid for this sort of thing all of the time. In fact I have a few times set up a network of offices each with their own internet connection and private internal links (Frame, wireless, etc), and load balanced / failovered the whole lot.
squid, appropriate config files, zebra, that's about it.
