Hi Scott

As I can only count my self as an expert in Domino not linux I'll
only answer your 3 problems

1 Security Domino is about secure as they come and if you're only allowing
25 through to it I can't see any problems, there was a buffer overflow on
R5 about 2 years ago but If I rememer rightly that was only in theory and
never see in the wild.

2 and 3 there are more antivirus and Spam Filtering products for domino
than you can shake a stick at my favorite being watchdog by unipart
systems but all the majors make one.

The only attack I've ever seen on a Domino Mail server was a DOS but some
ipchains rules took care of that.

But that said I've hidden domino behind postfix a few times times and it 
works. The only main problem is debugging problems
