PLEASE prove me wrong! We have a samba 2 domain, with Win2k/XP machines, and I am forever fixing printer problems, and other things that people stuff up...

To my understanding that's correct unfortunately...although it is possible to install printers remotely if you have something like an ssh server (I'm installing cygwin on all windows workstations I control) or vnc installed on all workstations....it's probably also possible using rpc if it's all setup properly(??)


It would be easier if we all ran Linux though. *sigh*
