hi, this is for those of you that use smoothwall. I've configured smoothwall as follows. ip address 192.168.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 dns will be auto configured as I have a ppp connection. network configuration with reference to nics and internet is as follows. green/red modem will be on com2"/dev/ttyS1" and profile for my isp is configured and ready to go. is there anything else I have to do to ensure this will play nicely for me? anything like putting a command somewhere in my system-v-init scripts like echo 1 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/all/proxy_arp or does that matter not? thanks in advance.
