Anyone know where I can find some up to date documentation on cryptoloop
stuff?
I just want an encrypted filesystem with a recent kernel - prefer 2.4.23
all of the sites, google etc only seem to have been updated in May.
the kernel readme for the loopback module refers me back to kerneli.org but
it is out of date.

best I can find is this source
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/hvr/testing/
which lacks up to date documentation on creating encrypted loopback
devices.....

can I create an encrypted loopback file from the stock kernel these days?
or do I need something like:
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/hvr/testing/patch-cryptoloop-hvr-2.4.22.0
if so, anyone tried it on a recent kernel?
success stories?

thanks

dave
