What specifically aren't you liking? Development is pretty rapid, so make sure you've got the latest version. AFAIK, and I've investigated this pretty well, all other graphical CD recording apps on Linux are, well, shit. My opinion anyway, but I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me. XCDRoast is one of the few apps that makes GUI buring more difficult than just running the command line tool.
