No, I'd tried a recent one (2.00.3), but not that recent. Thanks for
the tip.
Looking at the comments in Readme.linux (boy, he's a bit annoyed with
Linux), shows that, yes, /usr/include/scsi/sg.h is indeed different to
/usr/src/linux/include/scsi/sg.h, so that's a potential problem too.
Also the remark I missed in the readme that says:
Newer Linux kernels (from 2.3.51) moved SVSv shared memory into a filesystem.
If you get messages with error code EINVAL related to shared memory, you
most likely installed a newer kernel on an old system that does not mount
the new shared memory filesystem.

Since I am running a new kernel on an old system, I need to check that
too.
