Hey everyone,

I'm trying to use Nautilus over an SSH connection.

I'm using a Debian testing/unstable mix, I had the following packages
installed:

libgnomevfs2-common 2.4.1-4
nautilus 2.4.1-3
[plus assorted dependencies of course]

I have a passphraseless key, private key on local.example.com (my
desktop) in the authorized_key file on host remote.example.com. I have
verified that a normal ssh shell login to remote.example.com does not
ask for a password or passphrase.

I am typing "ssh://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/home/mary" in the location
bar of nautilus, running on local.example.com

Instead of working, as both [1] and [2] say this does, I get a "Couldn't
display "ssh://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/home/mary", because Nautilus
cannot determine what type of file it is" dialog box.

I installed gnome-vfs-sftp 0.1.2-4 as suggested by [1] and still get
that error message.

What do I need to install/uninstall/change/fix to get Nautilus to browse
files over an ssh connection?

-Mary
