Most SOHO would meet this criteria. I might have 200Gb or spinning hard
disk capacity, but less than 600Mb that I really want safe from disaster
(HD crash, house fire, etc).

Buy a DAT tape system. The tapes are far cheaper than DLT and AFAIKI you
can get the same capacity on these drives.
<whistles innocently {:-)> But the obvious question (classic rejoiner
{:-) is do you really need to back up 200Gb each day?
But, then we would have to be talking about a business there and that it
just another overhead that any real business has to meet.
