Then my recommendation is to change to a tape system.
Look at the Sanyo DAT drives. How much is your time worth?

That is the risk taken by anyone foolish enough to only save one copy of
any file. Sorry, but it has to be said (to everyone). I've been drumming
into people for almost two decades "Save early, save often and save
various copies". The last bit tends to get missed. It is the only way
that I know of around this problem.
