A hotkeys program is basically a shortcut program that allows you to hit for example:
shift a
which will then either enter text that you have sent up i.e. a signature or a set of commands to open a specific program, which will then enter your username and password .. it's great to set up for customer service reps etc.

What is a "Hotkey type program"? Having no real idea what that is you might want to try bbkeys.
