I've tried playing around with ntop and can't seem to get it doing what

need and maybe someone can point me in the direct direction and
hopefully
not where the sun don't shine.... hee hee.

My Intel router can display in (close to) realtime the network traffic
based
on protocol.. eg.

HTTP            -------------------- 60%
SMTP            ---- 10%
FTP             -------- 30%
Telnet  - 5% 
POP3            - 5%
