At a VERY much lower level than the present debate.... what is the significance of the virus alerts in the slug digests? emails with viruses purportinhg to come from slug? Does it mean that address lists on Linux boxes have been compromised? Do I--using a dialup to Pine on a server--need to virus check? Certainly NOT opening attachments there... Forgive me if I am coming into this late.. I have been overseas for 6 months :-)

That rule? Don't open e-mail attachments. Never. Ever.
