Hi Sluggers: I basically want to access my Debian box GUI manager via Windows client using CYGWIN.
I have installed cygwin on Windows. On my debain I have modified the gdm.conf file and enabled XDMCP. However when I X -query <ip_address> I get a blank screen on Windows. Am I missing something here with the setups for Debian. Please note that the Windows and Debian are connected via a Lan connection. I can ping the Debian box from the windows machine. Any clues ...
