Ok, this question is kinda strange, but maybe someone has seen it.

I recently upgraded rxvt as part of my normal apt-get upgrade on
debian unstable, and since upgrading have starting get somewhat
strange behaviour.

In my terminal I run things such as simulators (psim, skyeye, sulima)
and console. It get weird behaviour in these programs, the thing they
have in common is that they bypass any line buffering etc.

Now the weirdness happens when one of these programs outputs some
control character (not sure which but lets say 0x4, or something around
there). Now normally, rxvt will just echo characters to the screen, however
when it recieves this character it seems to generate some character string
and send it back to the program I'm running -- which well and truly screws things
for me.

Has anyone seen this behaviour? It only happens with the latest rxvt. xterm
works fine, raw console works fine. rxvt pre-lastest update worked fine.

If noone has seen this behaviour can some debian wizard tell me how to
checkout an old version of the rxvt package so I can try and get a working
copy happening again.

Cheers,

Benno
