I know of a couple of qmail solutions that should be generalisable to
other environments + toolchains:

  http://jclement.ca/software/datedmail.py/
  http://www.palomine.net/qdated/

I've also seen per-sender-encoded addresses which are similar, but
can't lay my hands on a link at the moment.
