Greetings all, Got a problem. I'm running a hardware RAID and have RH9 and Win2K installed. The RAID came with drivers for RH7 - 9 and Mandrake. I tried to install Fedora 1 blindly hoping the RAID drivers would be upwards compatible but though Fedora could see the drivers and add them to the list of possibilities during install it would not allow me to select them. I've checked the manufacturers website and there's no joy there (it's a Gigabyte Gigabyte GA7-N400Pro).
>From my small understanding I'm taking it that the RAID drivers are a kernel module and that they are compatible with whatever kernel RH9 uses but not with the new Fedora 0ne... is this right and is there anything I can do? Thanks, James. -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
