Hi Kevin and all, To my knowledge and understanding what Kevin stated here is right as far as this issue of SLUG selling Linux licenses to its membership and audience. That this ownership issue, whether it is SCO or the FREE SOFTWARE COMMUNITY is still open.
SLUG should not become a vehicle or instrument by which SCO is given de-facto recognition as the owner of the LINUX CODES without being settled by the proper courts as it is currently being pursued by our FRIENDS at IBM, NOVELL, HP, etc. I agree with anyone who wish to distance SLUG from this situation. SLUG Committee perhaps is jumping the gun. Don't SLUG be neutral and wait a while while this case is the Courts ? This is my opinion.
