what distro are you using?
if you are using are using a rpm based system you could search for glx
libraries on
rpmfind.net

other wise if debian based you can search on apt-get.org I think

Can anyone help?

I have installed an ATI 9800XT video card and all drivers in my
machine, the card seems to be working fine except for one problem. I
cannot get GLX to load. When I try to run 3D apps i get the error -
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

I noticed that I was missing a glx library "libglx.a" but I have now
installed that. Have I missed something. I really need to get 3D
working.

Thanks to any help provided.
