I ran /apt-get upgrade/ to which it left me a nice depency. Now with a reboot in hand, modprobe cannot find my ethernet driver: rtl8139. Which could of been due to apt-get not being able to finish.
I attempted a workaround I have another network card which is dormant. So I changed all /etc/network/interfaces references to eth0, though then running /etc/init.d/network (?) it dhcp broadcasts but never obtains an IP (same on reboot). Can anyone help me get back online. -- Simon Males <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "Let them hate, so long as they fear" -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
