This is a relatively easy one to fix. I'll also show you how I figured
out HOW to fix it.

First, go to bugs.debian.org and look for bugs against libxft-dev which
gets you this:

    http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?which=pkg&data=libxft-dev&archive=no

As it happens, the first bug listed is #237509, and in the email trail
it offers the following advice:

If you move (or remove) /usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xft/Xft1.h and
    /usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xft/Xft to /tmp/, you can do apt-get -f install
    to finally upgrade this package.

Hope this helps for next time.

Cheers,
Erik
