Hey Jasper, I know this may not be what you are after, but you can sync a PPC running windows 2003 mobile with a linux desktop.
Check out the synce project at http://synce.sourceforge.net. Its still windoze i know, but at least it would sync to linux! :) Cheers, Shane.
