I've installed Libranet, which is a Debian Sarge derivation. Libranet installs an old version of lshd which turns out to have a severe security alert. The Libranet packaging doesn't appear to offer an alternative to lshd, or a later version.
Can anyone tell me why I should or should not be using lshd? If I have to start messing with Libranet's packaging, I might as well toss it and just run Sarge. I bought the Libranet distro because it looked like a brain dead way to get Debian desktop happening, but I can't say I'm very happy with it. -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
