for rpm's of codecs etc, that are hard to find or often don't appear on
cd's (for legal reasons) try here

ftp://ftp.easynet.fr/plf/mandrake/cooker/

you will notice there is a amd64 directory ....only a few odds and ends
but its growing but the alpha directory has lots of codecs in there too
among other things.

PLF is one of the reasons I like Mandrake and the site works with the
urpmi package manager.

Mandrakes first try at a amd64 distribution wasn't too flash hope
Mandrake 10 Official amd64 doesnt stuff up this time or SuSe will own
the amd64 market for easy installs.

PS: you might have to use the source rpm's with suse because I have
tried binary SuSe rpm's, and found they don't work well in Mandrake but
rebuilding ( rpm --rebuild package_name.src.rpm ) then the SuSe source
rpm's in Mandrake work a treat.
