If they all run the same IDE then you will not need the full 500Mb of memory Program say 200Mb Work areas say 300Mb First developer will use 500 Mb but the next will only use 300Mb and because the program is in memory it will load extremely quickly. I run a 64Mb P250 Laptop connecting to my desktop and it works perfectly. So the machine specs are overrated for the requirements. If you really want to look after your developers. Get the better graphics cards and buy LCD screens. Buy them an optical mouse each as well for the graphics design stuff. -- Thanks KenF OpenOffice.org developer -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
