The funny thing is that you wont find a systems administrator who doesn't get to practice his craft with out a computer. logical thinking, ability to research, patience and accuracy, these might make a good computer professional. Memory is about the one thing I am sure they don't need.

Having a ridiculous testing regime really destroys this as any sort of certification.

Yes it is ofcourse memory and no it is not on a computer..written exams prove your memory alot better than exams on computers, that you can try out your answers on before you submit the next question.

if you type 'man' on the computer you will find out exactly what it does.
this does not prove you ability to be a system administrator. according to LPI.
