Hi,

A friend has asked me to help him with a problem. I've been looking
into a little today and have managed to solve some of the issues,
except for the last nagging thing.

Everytime we launch startx it does the following;

Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/,
removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/,
removing from list!

waiting for X server to shut down

Looking back over the warnings and errors we see the following also.

(WW) The directory "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID/" does not exist.
        Entry deleted from font path.

If I hash out the CID stuff in the XF86Config, that error disappears
but the other stuff before the server shutsdown still appear.

I am guessing something is not installed or a script needs to be ran.
Fonts exist in the Speedo and Type1 dirs.. as I checked.

Can anyone help?

Thanks
