I have a DLink DWL-660 card which is an Orinoco chipset. It's (only) an 802.11b card (11Mbps) so if you *need* 54Mbps, look elsewhere. Still the DWL660 has been great for me - worked out of the box with Suse 9.1 and only required minor "fiddling" to get it happy on Debian Stable.
