I know I said off-list that I didn't have much help to offer on this
one, but I suspect people who do might find answers to the following
useful:

 1. What kind of website? (is it all static HTML files? scripts? database
 driven?)

 2. How is your main webserver hosted? (colo? in your office? home
 broadband? virtual hosting?)

 3. What kind of backup webserver would you want to switch to? (colo? in
 your office? home broadband? virtual hosting?) Is it on a network
 administered by the same person who admins the main webserver's
 network, or is it a totally different network?

 4. Is your backup server always available or are you somehow going to
 switch it on or set it up only when the main one fails?
