Does anyone know where I can find a couple of desktop icons. I am looking for a telephone handset in the off-hook and on-hook condition to represent dialup and hangup. I have found lots of icons jus not those two.
I just had a look at http://images.google.com and there are several icons that could be edited to provide the on-hook and off-hook. Just pick one that has the handset part separate enough from the phone body and use the gimp to create a copy of that but with the handset 'taken off'.
e.g.
http://www.utexas.edu/its/telephone/phoneguide/pg1.html
Grab the phone and handset image and manipulate in the gimp to create your own on and off version.
A smaller icon would be: http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/Web/corporate/pages.nsf/Links/D330E77C7602482480256DB900379EB4
