At work we've had some trouble with these not working and being flakely
in some machines (all recent 2+Gig P4s). Not sure it if was a hardware 
or a driver issue, but saw it on both the 2.4 and the 2.6 kernels.

We ended up switching to Intel (not sure of the chip number).
