When I was methodically visiting all the sea caves on the central coast (I'm not done yet) I just had this hoopy idea, as Zaphod said to Ford Prefect.
A CodeCon is meant to be a lost-cost conference. The gist of this idea is a fabulous location, a big tent and a generator. BYO laptop. Visit http://miller.emu.id.au/pmiller/open-air-open-source/index.html and see what crazy idea stuck in my head. You can't get much more low-cost than this. So, how about it? Two nights of hacking and yakking. RSVP: Thu 12-Aug-04, but preferably much earlier. I'll start booking things iff (definite + (maybe/5) > 20) -- Peter Miller <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
