I know you've already found a solution but the GNOME logout option, at least from the menu, offers the following options: - Log out - Shut down - Restart the computer (at least in GNOME 2.6 - not sure what version you're running) -- To be or not to be. -- Shakespeare To do is to be. -- Nietzsche To be is to do. -- Sartre Do be do be do. -- Sinatra
