Thanks for this info... by spoofing as IE6 on WinXP I can now logon to the MacQuarie Uni eStudent website... it won't accept spoofing as NS6.. I smell a rat. Firefox now crashes when it downloads the Internet Banking applet when I spoof as NS 1 Win 98, but I think there is promise along this path. What is the 'political' state of play here in Oz re. getting corporations to recognise Linux (i.e. on their websites) ? Seems to me that because it's free, and hence there is no corporate lobby, compared to Win and Apple, there will be pressure to exclude it.. any evidence for this ?
thanks. Rod

Since Apple's Safari is based on (and contributed back to) KDE's Konqueror,

Sorry, Fire fox and Just about all browsers work on OS 10.x .
For linux the only sure fire solution is User agent spoofing.
Best way that I have found is /prefbar/ find it at http://prefbar.mozdev.org/ .
Install and restart your browser. A preferences bar appears with some check boxes and a drop down menu.
Select "Moz 1.0 win98" then log into St George Bank.
Now just lay back and think of the economy.
