We'll it looks like I will be taking a nice big dive into the configuration of mythtv. I was hoping to have already done it.
However considering my athlon machine has no mainboard (after problems with a local computer shop causing me issues.. etc see planet.slug.org.au for my journal entries.. I am not very happy at the moment about this) Soon as I get a working machine, going to purchase a dvico hdtv pci card, and get fedora core 2 (possibly) installed and then get to work configuring mythtv. If you've done this already, I'd like to hear from you, especially if you can suggest some stuff I might need to look out for during the install process. Anyone else on slug using the dvico hdtv pci card? A friend is already using one on fedora core 2 (so I know it works). I told him he will be getting questions if I get stuck, although I reckon I should be alright, considering I've been using linux alot longer then he has.
