Hi All,

A quick reminder and update about tomorrow's audio/music group meeting.
We have Alex Mesker and Sarah Keith (both students here) talking about
their creative work with MAX. Topics covered to be:

The MAX/jMax interface
Basis of MIDI data (why Max is a great way to work with MIDI)
Treating MIDI data.
Building algorithmic models around MIDI input (such as chord addition,
arpeggiators, tempo based algorithms)
Then maybe perform a -very- short piece in real-time using a patch we've
created.

We thought it would be a great way to see how musicians use this
technology, with the aim of mapping existing and future open source
possibilities.
