I've just upgraded debian testing with netatalk 1.6.4 and OS X 10.3.6 Now I can't log into netatalk. Before I attempt to log in, it tells me the login and password are incorrect.
The only reference I can find to this problem was from some dude who apparently fixed it by upgrading to netatalk v.2b, for which there is no Debian package. first question: has anyone had experience of this problem, and if so what did they do about it? second question: If I <apt-get remove netatalk> then re-install from tarball, what if any precautions should I take regarding subsequent .deb installs when they become available? many thanks....
