Far out man, you've come a long way in 6 weeks. I felt the same excitment when I started, first it was about this new software, then later, the license ;) You're probably looking for nfs, nfs is the traditional unix tool for file sharing. > Any assistance/directions most appreciated. There's a howto at http://nfs.sourceforge.net/nfs-howto/, but it's probably not the easiest way to go and it explains things you wouldn't need to worry about. I think your best bet is to try to do it through webmin, or mandrake or redhat documentation and tools. To do it manually, a very rough overveiw of what you need to do is on the file server edit /etc/exports, reload the nfs daemon, and on the other box you mount the filesystem. -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
