Hi Ben,

I'll suggest as to why I'm no advocate of any Linux
Distro.

I believe that Open Source in general and Linux
in particular belongs to all peoples, newbies, experts,
and not so experts alike.

It is a concept with socialist origins nurtured by a
community of people with this common interest
to share their ideas and resources to produce a
very useful product.

This is why I say no one Linux Distro is superior
or inferior to the other. It is what you want to use it
for and how you want to use it for, that should
decide which Linux Distro to use not the one that
some person or group of persons who can push
it down your throat.

It does not help most readers who just wants to have objective and
fair assessments of the issues at hand.

You are right, though, when Gentoo is mentioned in this list
the same people sprung up and suddenly just come to life as if
they've come from nowhere.
