Huh? Restricting posts to members only was voted down, not running spam filters in general. Ken was simply suggesting a new rule to help reduce spam, that is, don't accept email that claims to be from [EMAIL PROTECTED], where someone doesn't exist. (Which should be possible to check since the spam software could fairly easily find out a list of valid @slug.org.au addresses.)
