I was under the impression that mount would attempt to load the right module when you attempt to load a filesystem of that type. I could be wrong on that, but I've never had to do anything to mount exotic filesystems. > but, 'fdisk' still doesn't see it, should it ? Uhh, there's no such thing as a 'JFS partition'. It's just a 'normal' partition with a JFS filesystem on it. In much the same way that my XFS partitions just show up as 'Linux'.
