The Australian Communications Authorithy has taken an initiative to help prevent spam. They provide an integrated feature to allow outlook express to forward spam to them. Presumabily this will allow them to maintain a database of spam and possibly even take legal action. (Actually, I believe that the powers of the ACA are quite far reaching and even allow them to sieze equipment without a police warrant)
They have provided a web form for submitting spam if you don't have outlook http://submit.spam.aca.gov.au/aca_submit_spam.html Is anyone looking into modifying a linux mail application (say kmail) to communicate with this system?
