Anybody tried booking an online fare with Qantas (Qaint-ass?).The Qantas website is terrible. I travel at least a week of every month and will never book flights through the site.
I can't be bothered sending an email. Fuck them if they don't want my business. Pardon the French (actually I think that was English).
Perhaps they did want your business, though I wouldn't blame them if they changed their mind after an outburst like that.
Perhaps it's cheaper for them to employ phone operators to talk to cranky Free Software users than it is to test that their web site works with multiple browsers.
Perhaps it's cheaper for you to arrange your regular ticketing through
a travel agent. They can often get good deals, and might even make you
a nice cup of tea if you need to relax.
Qantas's website being lame simply means I use another website (specifically, webjet) to book my travel. If what I think is correct, when I travel Qantas through webjet, they'll get less commission on the fare.
