Thanks for the tip. It works like a charm so now myself and the other half have our own (concurrent) desktops, both with sound! Yay! Again, thanks to everyone who has contributed to this discussion thread, especially Jeff and James. I've only been on this list for less than a week and already I have seen how damn useful it is.
