I want to set up a really simple wiki for internal use and I looked at
the debian archives and there are a huge number of wiki's. The thing is
which should I use?

Requirements are:

Secure, sign on required but really easy to set up.
Email notification of changes to remote smtp
Ability to lock page updates to a group of people

I am also evaluating Wikis at present for a group im involved in for groups working on documentation. I have just installed Oddmuse.
There is an article about it in the curent Linux Journal. Find it at http://www.oddmuse.org

It will do all of the above requirements through plugins. What appealed me about it is that it is a single Perl script that just sits in cgi-bin and it does not use a database - just plain text files. Its an easy system for me to start off with and see if it works.
Took me three mins to get it up and running. Its so easy to setup.
