Whats urban myth? what's very poorly? I have a handfull of systems with realtek cards, large files (dvd.iso) small files, I get 6-9 Mbyte/sec depending on disk speed !! using 100MB link. I've even watched mythtv (across LAN) on 2 hosts at same time and sent the iso and I'm sure that you can measure the difference, but I can't feel a difference. Seems just fine to me James -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
